Privacy policy

Your game progress

Toybox Tangle saves progress, settings, hint balances and gameplay records on your device so you can continue playing. It does not require a player account, and we do not operate a server that receives these local saves or gameplay records. Your device’s backup settings may include app data.

Removing the app and its data removes the local records; device or cloud backups may retain copies. We cannot recover or delete a save that exists only on your device.

Optional rewarded ads

Versions of Toybox Tangle with rewarded ads use Google AdMob. When your free hints run out, you can choose to watch an ad for an extra hint or keep playing without one. Earlier versions may not include this feature.

When you open the ad offer, Google’s consent service checks whether a privacy message is required. Ad loading is gated by that service’s permission to request ads.

Google’s advertising SDK may process your IP address (including approximate location), device and app identifiers, crash and performance information, and ad interactions. These support ad delivery, measurement, security and fraud prevention. The data used depends on your device, region and privacy choices.

Read Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps and sites. Google and advertising partners handle information under their respective policies; information may be processed outside your country.

Your advertising choices

Where a consent screen is required, you can manage your choices or decline consent. Where available, use Ad Privacy in the game’s pause menu to revisit those choices, withdraw consent, or access applicable US state opt-out options, including choices about the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising. You can also use your device’s advertising privacy controls.

You do not have to watch an ad to continue playing. Ad availability and the extra hint depend on an ad being available and completed.

Our website

Our static website is hosted using Amazon Web Services. Serving web pages involves processing technical request information such as IP addresses, requested URLs and browser information. We have not added advertising scripts or an analytics tracker to the website.

Some pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which involves a request to Google. This privacy page uses system fonts. Links to other services are governed by those services’ privacy policies.

When you contact us

If you email support@nextturnstudio.com, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use it to respond and resolve your request. Our email service processes messages to deliver and store them. Please avoid including sensitive information that is not needed for support.

We retain support correspondence as needed to handle the request and meet applicable obligations. You may ask us to delete it. Advertising providers and device-backup providers apply their own retention practices.

Children

Toybox Tangle is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children under 13. We do not ask players to submit a name, email address or date of birth in the game. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can address it.

Privacy requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, object to or restrict its use, withdraw consent, or request a portable copy. Contact support@nextturnstudio.com to make a request about information we hold. We may need to verify the request. You may also have the right to contact your local data-protection authority.

For information held by Google or another provider, use its privacy controls and request channels. For progress stored only on your device, manage the app’s data and your device backups.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent.
